The Whittier Art Gallery plans opening of its new addition. The event will honor Mrs. Mabel Haig, a charter director of the Association, founders, life members and past presidents of the Art Association.
The new addition, provided the much-needed stage performance space for future “Bohemian Night” productions. The three walls surrounding the stage formed the exhibit space known as “West Gallery”.
The event celebrated the 25 Anniversary of the Whittier Art Association, and the 20th Anniversary of the opening of the Whittier Art Gallery. The formal opening was celebrated with a beautiful afternoon tea. Mrs. Mabel Haig introduced many of the original members of the Whittier Art Association.
